Cassper Nyovest says he needs R10 million to fill up Soccer City
Cassper Nyovest’s next project will cost him no less than 10 bars
Ambition may as well be Cassper Nyovest’s middle name. He’s done the Dome, he’s been to Orlando Stadium, now he wants to fill up Soccer City.
FNB Stadium is easily the biggest stage any artist could perform at in South Africa so it’s no surprise that Cassper would have it as his next target.
He made his intentions known in an interview on SABC 3 talk show, Real Talk with Anele acknowledging that this feat will need more than just a prayer. “Since we’re doing FNB right now, if there’s a corporate company that’s watching, if you could please sponsor us and jump on Fill Up FNB Stadium.”
So what kind of figure are we talking about? “We need 15 million to do what we wanna do,” he said explaining that they’re targeting 75 000 people.
So how much bigger do you get than Soccer City? National, if you ask Cassper. “Maybe I’ll move to another province or something. But it’s the last one in Joburg,” he revealed.
While you wait for that, you can relive Fill Up The Dome on ShowMax. Cassper recently signed an exclusive broadcast deal with the streaming service.
