The 2014 I Heart Joburg Music Festival is set to rock the City of Gold with all line-up that’s worth its weight in gold. Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Jessie J, T-Pain, Panic at the Disco and B.o.B make up this year’s international line-up for the annual 12-hour festival.
The inaugural, uninterrupted half day music mega-show brings six local acts together with six international acts. The local acts are chosen by the public through an on air voters’ showdown on 5FM. The locals acts which scored the most votes from radio fans were Crash Car Burn, iFani, Kwesta, The Arrows, The Graeme Watkins Project and Zebra & Giraffe.
This year’s event promises to be one like no other with its exceptional line-up, “experiential areas” and some history-making moments. Ahead of the event, a number of the international acts listed took a minute to record home video messages letting their Joburg fans know just how much they can’t wait to see them.
